Since our launch we’ve been inundated with phonecalls and emails from people! More than 120 people came to our launch exhibition Latintempo– thanks so much to everyone for your feedback!

What an amazing success the art exhibition yesterday! I take my hat off to you for all your hard work, dedication and organization. The artworks you chose are fabulous, the artists we talked to are fascinating and the group was really lively.
The work I connected to most was that of Alberto Spinetti and I also loved the two paintings by Ángel Mieres and Guillermo Barreto‘s work. Ana María Álvarez

Embracing Art was an absolutely wonderful experience. This event, organized under the leadership and guidance of Visual Art Sur, provided the Stamford community with a very unique experience. The Venezuelan artists, Solange, Angel and Margaret embraced Neighbors Link’s mission ” to strengthen the community by actively enhancing the integration of recent immigrants” with passion and shared not only their amazing artistic talents but also their human touch while working together with kids of all ages and backgrounds.
We will always treasure the wonderful pieces of art that Solange, Angel and Margaret created with the kids at Neighbors Link.

More feedback from our artists….
Yesterday marked the culimination of the hard work carried out by a group of artists and Mrs Nora Ellis. I was lucky enough to accompany her in the workshops and activities that took place last week in Greenwich and also at the inauguration party of the exhibition of our paintings and sculptures.
It was an experience that was full of emotion because of the great welcome we received in all the activities (the workshops with children and teenagers and the visit and workshop to an immigrants’ center).
Every last detail of how the works were presented was cared for and all I can say is congratulations to us, the artists, for being part of this excellent launch. Thanks Nora! Margaret Salazar (artista venezolana)

Ayer culminó el esfuerzo de un grupo de artistas y la Sra Nora Ellis. Tuve la suerte de acompañarla en los talleres y actividades que se hicieron la semana pasada en Greenwich y también en el coctel de inauguración de la muestra de nuestras pinturas y esculturas.
Quiero decirles que fue una experiencia llena de muchas emociones por toda la acogida que tuvimos en todas las actividades que realizamos (talleres con niños y adolescentes y una visita y taller en un centro de inmigrantes).
El montaje de las obras y la presentación de las mismas estuvo cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle. Sólo me queda felicitarnos, a los artistas, por haber participado en este excelente lanzamiento. Gracias Nora. Margaret Salazar (artista venezolana)
I took part in the education work and the opening of VISUAL ART SUR. It was a gratifying experience, the program of events was managed down to the very last detail …. a total SUCESS!
