José Vivenes and Onofre Frías paint wild animals in Caracas!
October 11, 2011
Here are the lions that VAS artists José Vivenes and Onofre Frías painted for a recent urban art event in Caracas. A group of forty artists were invited to decorate and alter the lions however they wanted.
The lions then became the focus of public exhibitions in a number of different squares across the Venezuelan capital, the forty lions will be auctioned off on October 27th and all profits will go to Socieven: http://socieven.org/ – a charity that supports the deaf and blind community in Venezuela. What a great iniciative!
